7 Steps to Energy Efficiency
The Rexel Energy Solutions Team can take you through our 7 easy steps to energy efficiency, and will be there to support you from a project’s inception right through to its completion and follow-up, to ensure the complete satisfaction of you and your client.
1 Feasibility Study
On our initial visit we will gain an understanding of your needs to establish what is achievable, taking into consideration budget and any other constraints. We will also identify any areas where simple changes can result in instant savings. An assessment of the electricity bill for the premises is central to this study.
2 Energy Audit
Full energy audit to identify where you can save and how much, which can include utilisation of metering, full analysis of lighting and building controls, and completion of a cost of ownership exercise to establish the potential energy, CO2 and cost reductions that could be achieved.
3 Product Proposal
Our energy manager will recommend the best equipment to help you achieve your energy targets. A range of products will be offered with no manufacturer bias so that an informed decision can be made.
4 Project Presentation and Proposal
We will ensure you receive a detailed report and proposal, so that the savings calculated can be clearly identified enabling you to implement the recommendations with confidence.
5 Project Planning
Your long-term strategy is important to us and our Energy team will ensure that you achieve your goals with professional planning from project inception to execution and will involve relevant manufacturers at the appropriate stage, for example bespoke design products or where specific technical expertise is required.
6 Project Installation
We can arrange for approved partner organisations to carry out installation works where required and giving our assurance that their service is of the highest standard.
7 Project Measurement
We want to ensure that you achieve your target savings, so assess the performance of the installation by measuring energy consumption pre and post installation, and identify whether any further enhancements are required.
